With the current COVID-19 situation, it’s important everyone is playing their part to help prevent the spread of this virus.
To protect our team members and our customers, we have put the following measures in place.
We have created an internal portal that contains up-to-date information, government advice and frequently asked questions, as well as regular updates from our Risk & Compliance team.
Hand sanitiser, disinfectant and hand towels have been provided to all team members and stringent procedures have been put in place for our team members that have direct contact with the pubic, in particular our drivers.
We have suspended all external access to our sites and introduced procedures for all customer pick-ups. As well as suspending external access, we have also suspended business travel and team members that have recently returned from overseas are required to follow government advice and self-isolate for 14 days.
Team members that have the capacity to do so are working from home and social distancing policies have been introduced within teams that are required to work on site.
All of our local Bidfood branches continue to remain operational and are available to assist and support customers as needed.
